Our Current Assignments
Guy has been using his engineering and management skills in the
Philippines for the past six years. Holding successive positions as Broadcast
Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, International Engineering Manager,
Project Director, and currently Technical Services Director, he has helped to
revitalize the facilities, transmitters, and buildings of FEBC Philippine’s
Overseas Service. The improvements have provided significant new ability to
reach the people of Asia with the Gospel message doubling the coverage area
of the broadcasts and helping to send listener responses to record levels.

In his current assignment Guy is responsible to provide the overall
technical leadership for FEBC Philippines in both the local and
international broadcast operations. Through management of the
senior engineering resources of the Philippine field Guy hopes to
provide improved equipment, more professional operations and
louder, clearer signals to all. In addition Guy is excited to begin
developing a core of trained and capable engineers that can be used
by FEBC’s other Asian fields who have a scarcity of engineering
resources.

Chris currently ministers to missionary families through her work as an
educational therapist at Faith Academy, a school dedicated to teaching the
children of missionaries. As an educational therapist in the NILD program, she
helps children overcome their learning challenges so that they can succeed in
school. Helping these struggling students blesses not only the students, but also
allows their families to remain on the mission field serving God in many different
ways. Chris has taught middle school children from four different countries and
ten different missions. This year she was able to attend a 2 week long intensive
NILD training course. This allows Chris to continue as an educational therapist
for five more years. We thank God that Chris was able to complete this vital
training here in Manila. During the training Chris made many contacts with the
local Filipino NILD community. She hopes to stay involved with the group to
encourage the growth of this God centered program in the Philippines.
