We arrived in Indonesia knowing that there were some great schools near our
home in Lippo Karawaci. We were praying about how to afford to enroll James.
As it turns out the finances were not the problem, it was the curriculum. The
British/Singapore based curriculum were so far out of step with the order of
classes the US system that James couldn't pass the entrance tests. In some
subjects he know too much, in others far to little. We chose to homeschool
James this year and so Chris, much to her surprise is once again a
homeschool teacher. With 6 years off since our last round of teaching the kids
at home it has been hard on Chris to get back up to speed.

Working in the local community, Chris has begun to learn how to minister to our brothers and sisters of
other faiths in Lippo. One good way to meet folks is as an English tutor. The has been working with
school children in a small Christian School with Solders from our local military detachment, and has even
been asked to assist by random folks on the street.
